Installation condition 440CD
To ensure the 440CD operates with maximum precision, a professional walk through metal detector installation must adhere to the following environmental conditions:
- Structural stability: The unit must be placed on a flat, solid floor. Any vibration in the floor can lead to “ghost” alarms or reduced sensitivity.
- Metal-free clearance: Maintain a distance of at least 10cm (4 inch) from fixed metal objects. For large moving metal objects like elevators or revolving doors, keep a distance of 0.5m to 2m (20 – 79 inch).
- Electronic interference mitigation: The installation site should be 0.5m to 4m away from electronic interference sources, such as power lines, motors, or computer monitors.
- Frequency setting: When installing multiple units side-by-side, ensure each device is set to a different working frequency to prevent mutual interference.
